Equipped with a reversible jacket, the quiet Karelia is, according to many, the most comfortable hunting suit – downright the national suit of a forest citizen 2.0. It breathes and holds moisture appropriately.

Karelia's features are great for, for example:

  • for group yachts at the end of autumn (NOTE the orange attention color on the reverse side!)
  • waiting in the passport
  • for off-road adventures where you need protection against the weather, but don't struggle in the wettest conditions.

As a pattern, Dark xFade, Repo's own innovation that breaks the hunter's silhouette. It keeps the stalker's figure hidden from prey and also conspicuous.

The silent, 2-layer microfleece is equipped with a membrane, but the seams are left untaped. The pants are therefore breathable and retain moisture, but are not suitable for heavy rain or wading in dewy grass.

Kääntötakki yhdistää helposti kahden takin hyödyt ja takin näkyvän puolen voi valita helposti edessä olevan tilanteen mukaan.

Irrotettava huppu

Irrotettava huppu tarjoaa monipuolisuutta: huppu on helppo kiinnittää tai ottaa pois sen mukaan, haluaako sitä käyttää vai ei.

Säänkestävä

Tuotteessa on veden- ja tuulenpitävä kalvo, mutta siinä ei ole teipattuja saumoja. Vaate hylkii kevyttä sadetta ja kosteutta, mutta erityisesti pitkäaikaiseen rankkasateeseen se ei ole paras valinta.

DWR-käsittely

DWR-käsittely (Durable Water Repellent) tekee kankaasta vettähylkivän, jolloin vesi pisaroi ja valuu vaatteen pinnalta sen sijaan, että imeytyisi kankaaseen. Tämä käsittely parantaa vaatteen säänkestävyyttä.

Huomioväritys

Karelia is Finland's national costume 2.0.

The main idea behind Karelia's design was to create a multi-purpose suit that would serve as many Finnish hunters as possible, and that would have a really good price-quality ratio. In my own opinion and that of the customers, this has been successful.

The reversible jacket is of course the absolute gem of the suit - it's easy to turn around, even in the middle of a yacht, when you need an eye-catching color. The 2-layer microfleece is the quietest material and gives you the chance to succeed in catching a catch. The film laminated between the layers protects against the most rain, while the untaped seams improve breathability. The suit has worked well both when sitting in the passport tower and when looking for aspen.

If you are expected to spend the whole day in damp grass or heavy rain, a fully waterproof membrane suit, such as the Alpha G2, is of course a better choice. However, the weatherproof suit keeps most of the water out even during rain showers.

Versatility is Karelia's best feature.

Istuu päälle hyvin. Taskujen määrä hyvä, tosin hieman isommat voisi olla mutta hyvät kumminki. Vetoketju topakan kuulonen. Alku kauden liikkuvaan jahtiin voisi olla hieman ohuempi mutta pulskalla pojalle tulee joka vaatteessa lämmin liikkuessa. Hirvijahtiin varmasti hyvä takki kun kelit viilenee, kääntöväritys siihenkin iso plussa. Kaikenkaikkiaan olen hyvin tyytyväinen hinta/laatu suhteeseen.

Takki on erittäin mielyisää ja lämmintä kangasta eikä se kahise. Taskuja on hyvin ja samoihin taskuihin pääsee käsiksi vaikka kääntää takin toisin päin. Mitoitus on hieman reilumpaa kokoa. Tyylikäs takki kaikinpuolin ja olen tyytyväinen ostokseen. Takki pääsee tosi testiin heti, kun muutaman päivän päästä kausi alkaa.

Ostin takin 02/24. Tähän mennessä olen siihen erittäin tyytyväinen, lämmin, tuulenpitävä, riittävä mitoitus, sopii väliasuja kylmällä ilmalla. Uskon siis, että on toimiva myös hirvijahdeissa, jota varten se on hankittukin. Taskut saisi olla hieman syvemmät.

Can I order the jacket and pants in different sizes?

Yes, you can also order a jacket and pants in a different size. Then place a suit order by adding a jacket from your own jackets category and pants from your own category. And don't worry - the total price remains the same as for the entire costume!

How do I know which size is right for me?

Finnish standard sizing is used in our clothes. However, we recommend that you always check the correct size from the "size guide" button next to each product.

How do I know if the clothes are waterproof?

You can find more detailed information about the materials of our clothes on the technical data tab in the products. By default, however, waterproof clothing must have both membrane and taped seams and also, for example, weatherproof zippers. The membrane alone does not necessarily guarantee that the product is waterproof. Membrane clothes with taped seams hold water up to the given water column ratings, but it is also good to note that the membrane is not completely sealed like in traditional rain clothes. That's why even membrane clothing can let water through, especially when exposed to high pressure for a long time.

What is a DWR treatment?

DWR treatment (Durable Water Resistant) is a treatment applied to the surface of the garment that makes it water and dirt repellent. The DWR treatment wears off over time and, for example, with washing, after which it is good to impregnate the garment again. You will notice the weakening of the DWR treatment when the water no longer drips on the surface of the garment, but the fabric immediately absorbs the water.
