Almost completely silent, effectively breathable and waterproof hunting suit. Suitable for a true hunter who does not give in to the conditions while the prey is still waiting in the forest.

In the Alpha G2 hunting suit, you can focus on what's important and hurry those more hasty ones home to warm up.

The suit's innovative xFade pattern fades the hunter's silhouette into the terrain so effectively that the prey has almost no chance to detect the lurker.

This suit works great for things like:

  • in the moving yachts of late autumn, where you would alternate between sweat and cold in a normal suit
  • in passport hunting - even when it's raining horizontally
  • in conditions where the most persistent are rewarded with the best catches.

Alpha G2 keeps heavy rain and strong wind excellent, but breathes away the moisture that evaporates from the skin. It sits comfortably on top and flexes in the right places when you need to quickly raise a weapon or crouch down to handle your prey.

NOTE! This is not the lightest suit out there. We definitely do not recommend the Alpha G2 suit for e.g. triathlon or road cycling. However, you can look for a more comfortable hunting outfit for hard use and tough conditions.

Characteristics

Stretch-panels

The product features areas made from specially flexible fabric, designed to enhance freedom of movement and comfort. These are typically found in pants around the knees and seat area.

DWR-treatment

The DWR treatment (Durable Water Repellent) makes the fabric water-resistant, causing water to bead up and roll off the surface instead of absorbing into the fabric. This treatment enhances the garment's weather resistance.

Ventilation

The ventilations are strategically placed, zippered openings that allow you to easily adjust the airflow of the garment. Remember to open the vents before you start sweating.

Quiet

The product is made from materials that remain as quiet as possible, even while moving. A completely silent hunting suit doesn’t exist, but it can certainly be quiet.

Breathable

The breathable material used in the product allows moisture and heat to escape from inside the garment, keeping you comfortable and dry even during active movement.

Windproof

The membrane in the product protects against the wind and prevents cold drafts from penetrating the garment before they reach your bones.

Waterproof

The product is equipped with a waterproof, breathable membrane and features taped seams. With this, you’ll stay dry even in harsher conditions and can focus on what matters most without worrying about the weather.

Pockets

The product features plenty of pockets for various purposes. Their placement and size are optimized to suit the intended use of each garment.

Alpha is a suit created based on the needs of the repo residents, the biggest criteria of which was a cut suitable for the Finnish (male) body, comfort and durability - both in different weather conditions and in use.

Alpha is definitely at its best in late autumn, when the weather has cooled and the water is pouring down from the sky. The tobacco fabric is durable and the high-quality film has kept the water out even after long trips. The jacket's integrated camouflage hood has been a good addition when you have had to disappear from both your wife and your prey.

It was important for us to combine the comfort of hiking pants and the functionality of hunting clothes, especially in the pants, and we haven't regretted the use of elastic panels for a moment. These are definitely the most advanced membrane pants we've used.

The Alpha G2, modified from the first version (G1) on the basis of customer feedback, is now exactly what we wanted it to be, but this is by no means the lightest end. So if you're looking for something light to wear, check out Tokka.

Can I order the jacket and pants in different sizes?

Yes, you can also order a jacket and pants in a different size. Then place a suit order by adding a jacket from your own jackets category and pants from your own category. And don't worry - the total price remains the same as for the entire costume!

How do I know which size is right for me?

Finnish standard sizing is used in our clothes. However, we recommend that you always check the correct size from the "size guide" button next to each product.

How do I know if the clothes are waterproof?

You can find more detailed information about the materials of our clothes on the technical data tab in the products. By default, however, waterproof clothing must have both membrane and taped seams and also, for example, weatherproof zippers. The membrane alone does not necessarily guarantee that the product is waterproof. Membrane clothes with taped seams hold water up to the given water column ratings, but it is also good to note that the membrane is not completely sealed like in traditional rain clothes. That's why even membrane clothing can let water through, especially when exposed to high pressure for a long time.

What is a DWR treatment?

DWR treatment (Durable Water Resistant) is a treatment applied to the surface of the garment that makes it water and dirt repellent. The DWR treatment wears off over time and, for example, with washing, after which it is good to impregnate the garment again. You will notice the weakening of the DWR treatment when the water no longer drips on the surface of the garment, but the fabric immediately absorbs the water.
